UI Personalization

N owadays, the industry is running on the assumption that a single user interface (UI) can effectively engage a diverse group of users. However, it is not effectively implemented on several UI platforms which often leads to dissatisfaction among various user groups. Moreover, the majority of the users belong to a non-technological background with varying levels of understanding and comfortability with modern technology. Thus, a dynamically customized UI “tailormade” for front-end users' needs is a necessity. The presented exposition introduces a methodology to generate a personalized user interface using the age, gender and browser history of the user. It is processed using face recognition and machine learning techniques. Further, the concept of Fuzzy Logics is used to choose which websites the user might want to be personalized. REST framework has had back end developers flocking to it ever since Flickr launched its own REST API in August of 2004. Due to the simple fact that most of the Back end developers cannot develop an inspiring front end to match it.”

Effects of COVID-19 on Corporate India

“The last few months have brought this world an unexpected turn of events, all our lives took a drastic turn and then came to a standstill. With the second largest population in the world we can assume that the continuously rising number of victims is keeping our country’s greatest asset tied up at home, forcing many businesses into hard times. The lock down however has also taught us that no matter how bad things go, life will go on. So what we need to do is to get a little innovative and continue with our lives and work.”

Not Getting Paid For a Paid Internship

“Not long before writing this article, I had just finished an internship. I was hired by a startup called Legal24by7 a subsidiary of Foodwagon via an advertisement on a popular website for internships, though I was promised a small amount I readily accepted it since it was an easy job and because I had some time to spare then to add a little more experience under my belt, not to mention some extra bucks to spare in my pocket.”

Controlling Your YouTube Media Intake

“In the past few months we all have started to consume a lot of media input. Here are some tips to control your intake. For most of us the lion share of our time in the past months was spent in front of a screen. Be it experiencing some new content on Netflix, Amazon Prime or any other streaming service. However all of these streaming services have a common strategy of recommendation algorithms to keep us hooked, which is in a way good but can easily go out of hands.”
